Kai Havertz reveals which is his best position after mixed start for Chelsea

Kai Havertz has claimed he is happy to play in any position Frank Lampard wants him to as long as he is getting play time for Chelsea. It hasn't been quite a tough start to the campaign for the summer signing, who made the move from Bayer Leverkusen for more than £70million. The 21-year-old has scored just once in the Premier League so far and added one assist, with two assists in the Champions League. Havertz has been moved around the Chelsea team so far this season, having played up top, in the number ten and eight roles and on the wing. However, he insists he doesn't mind where he plays as long as he is getting game time. "Of course I like to play offensively but in Leverkusen I think I played in every offensive position, so for me it doesn’t matter what position it is," Havertz told the Chelsea website. "I am very happy to play and at the moment it doesn’t matter which position. We have a lot of good players, you see that on the pitch and I am just happy to play. “I am feeling better. It is not easy when you are out for two or three weeks not doing anything, you lose your whole fitness level. I am two and a half weeks back now in training, feeling good, better day by day. "Of course there is a lot of room to improve but I try my best in training and the games and hope to help the team." Source- Football.London Join us on Telegram
