Jurrien Timber could secure dream number at Arsenal if he joins

Arsenal are currently interested in Declan Rice and Kai Havertz and also been linked with a move for Jurrien Timber.

Timber, 22, plays for Ajax and has been with the club since 2020. His contract at Eredivisie's side expires in 2025.

During the 2022/23 season, Timber made 47 appearances in which he scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists.

The defender could get his dream number at Arsenal if he ends up joining the Premier League side.

Currently, the 22-year-old wears number 2 at the back of his shirt for both club and country.

As the number is currently vacant at Arsenal, Timber could take on it if he joins.

Hector Bellerin was the last player to don that number at the Gunners.
