Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has told close friends he’s prepared to reject Manchester United for former club Manchester City this summer, according to reports. Sancho left City for first-team football in 2017 and he is now one of the biggest stars.
Manchester United had been confident of signing Sancho before the pandemic hit but the club are now questioning their pursuit of the 20-year-old.
Dortmund value Sancho at £120m and are unwilling to drop their asking price. According to the Sun, Sancho has now got an open mind to return to the Etihad. City offered to make him the highest-paid 17-year-old in their history on wages of £30,000-a-week and the club insist he would have become a first-team regular under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola.
That’s led to Sancho telling friends he would consider a move to the club this summer if they reignite their interest.
