International call-up on the horizon for Matteo Guendouzi

Matteo Guendouzi’s early season form for Arsenal could be set to lead to an international call-up. Arsenal signed him from Lorient for £8 million this summer. Guendouzi has been voted the club's player of the month for August. According to Telefoot , France manager Didier Deschamps is considering calling up Guendouzi for the upcoming international break, as the world champions face Iceland in a friendly and Germany in the Nations League. So far in his career, Guendouzi has featured for France at youth level playing for the Under-18s, U19s and U20s.
