Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta has revealed they have not received any offers for André Onana, while the player is happy at the club. '
The Cameroonian goalkeeper signed for Inter on a free transfer last summer after his contract with Ajax had expired. Initially, he was a backup for Samir Handanovic but later was able to displace the club captain in the starting XI.
This season, Onana has delivered some impressive performances, particularly in the Champions League. According to Tuttosport (via FcInterNews), Inter could be tempted to sell Onana for around €60 million as a result of his form.
Chelsea are reportedly monitoring the situation closely and view Onana as one of their primary targets for the upcoming summer transfer market.
Amid the latest links, Marotta has opened up on the goalkeeper's potential transfer deal, saying: “Onana leaving for €40m? I’d rule this out, honestly. We think he will stay."
He added: “We have not received any offers and Onana is happy in Milano, he wants to stay here. We do not plan to sell him”.
