Mikel Arteta has shared his praise for Rob Holding, claiming that the central defender helped the team to celebrate a win over Wolves.
Brazilain defender Gabriel scored the only goal of the game to give his side the lead against the Premier League rivals on Thursday.
Gunners had to play with a 10-man squad as the club attacker Gabriel Martinelli was sent off in the 69th minute of the game after receiving two yellow cards.
“Today he deserves a lot of credit. He was on the bench, he was ready to help," Arteta told
Football.London about Holding, who came as a substitute in the 71st minute.
“His attitude, his commitment to the team whether he plays every week or plays one minute, it’s incredibly good.
“He’s a really good influence for the rest. Today he really helped the team, the way he defended the box made a huge difference. Thanks to him we won the game.”
