"I think": Journalist says Everton man 'needs upgrade' this summer

Joe Thomlinson thinks Michael Keane 'needs' to be upgraded this summer. Keane has been a huge signing for Everton, as he started the majority of the games this season. However, the Toffees conceded 46 goals this term and one of the problems appears to be the centre-back. On Monday night, speaking before the Tottenham clash, Thomlinson claimed that Everton must improve the centre of their defence this upcoming transfer window.

“They can’t keep playing like they’re playing at the moment, that defence, like Michael Keane, I think is an upgrade needed." he said.
