Newcastle have completed the signing of AC Milan's Sandro Tonali, setting a new record for the transfer fee of an Italian player at $76 million.
The club have also completed the transfer of Yankuba Minteh from Danish club OB Odense. Additionally, they have extended the contracts of Matt Ritchie and Dan Burn, while Mark Gillespie will also be remaining with the team.

Meanwhile, Allan Saint-Maximin has been linked with a move away, according to multiple reports. As per Telegraph, the club are also interested in James Maddison.
Eddie Howe's side have reportedly contacted Sevilla to obtain a precise valuation for Youssef En-Nesyri, according to the Sunday Mirror.
Meanwhile, The Sun states that both Arsenal and Newcastle are intensifying their attempts to secure the signing of Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, potentially requiring a transfer fee surpassing £45 million.
The Daily Mail reports that Newcastle have joined Marseille in pursuing Fulham defender Antonee Robinson, who has previously attracted interest from Manchester City and AC Milan.
