'Horrifying' - Richard Keys and Andy Gray react to Everton coach claim

Richard Keys and Andy Gray claim that it's 'horrifying' how the next Everton manager's job is to 'achieve success in a relegation battle'. If Frank Lampard becomes the new boss then he'll walk straight into transfer deadline day and a possible relegation battle with Newcastle. The Toffees are currently 4 points ahead of the Magpies, with a game in hand on Eddie Howe’s side. Speaking on their own podcast, Keys and Gray have reacted.

“Is that how far Everton have fallen,” asked Keys.   “That the primary job of anyone coming in now is to achieve success in a relegation battle? I find that horrifying.”   “I find it staggering. I find it horrifying. I have said it all along, Everton aren’t going down. That doesn’t even enter my thought process.” Gray responded.
