'He texted me' - Everton man reveals what Seamus Coleman said after his transfer move

Vitaliy Mykolenko has revealed what Seamus Coleman had texted him after completing a move to Everton. The Ukraine international joined the Toffees for a fee of £17million. The 22-year-old left-back has shared what Coleman had told him after his arrival.

 “Seamus Coleman (is like a father figure). He’s a captain with a big ‘C’." he said.   "He texted me at night on NYE: 'Was great to meet you today. Happy you’re part of the team. I get it’s a difficult time for you but be strong and I’ll be there to help you.' ".
