Harry Kane has expressed his desire to join Bayern Munich this summer, and the German champions are determined to bring the English striker to the Bundesliga.
After an initial bid of €70 million with add-ons was turned down by Tottenham, Bayern have maintained direct contact with the London club and are preparing an improved offer.
Leading the negotiations is Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who aims to secure the striker's transfer to Allianz Arena. It is believed that the 29-year-old has already been convinced to make the move and is solely interested in joining the German side.
While Manchester United was also in the race for Kane, they have reportedly withdrawn from the competition due to concerns about the prolonged negotiation process with Spurs.
Thomas Tuchel's officials are wary of Daniel Levy's tough negotiating tactics and uncertain if Tottenham will agree to a specific transfer fee. There have been discussions about a potential free transfer for the player in 2024, but the Bundesliga giants' primary focus is on signing him this summer.
