On Monday FIFA announced the "Best FIFA Football Awards" for 2022. PSG star Lionel Messi got his best Men's Player award after winning World Cup 2022 in Qatar with Argentina.

Best Men's Player: Lionel Messi, PSG - Argentina national football team
Lionel Messi was named FIFA The Best Men's Player of 2022 following a historic year as Messi became World Cup 2022 champion. The PSG star scored 7 goals in 7 games for Argentina and provided 3 assists. He was also named MOTM in four matches in World Cup 2022.
Best Women's Player: Alexia Putellas, Barcelona
Putellas wins the award following a successful season with Barcelona which saw them win the league title, the Copa de la Reina trophy and the Champions League final.
Best Men's Coach: Lionel Scaloni, Argentina national football team
Lionel Scaloni wins the award after guiding Argentina to its flory in the World Cup 2022. The World Cup trophy became Scaloni's third trophy with Argentina as head coach after having won Copa America 2021 as well as the Finalissima 2022 trophy.
Best Women's Coach: Sarina Wiegman, Women's England national team
Wiegman wins the award after guiding England national team to glory after winning EURO 2022.
Best Men's Goalkeeper: Emiliano Martinez, Aston Villa - Argentina national football team
Emiliano Martinez wins the award following his performances in Argentina's World Cup 2022 run. The goalkeeper was pivotal during several games for Argentina as he saved important penalties against Netherlands in the quarter-finals as well in the final against France.
Best Women's Keeper: Mary Earps, Manchester United Women & Women's England national team
Earps wins the award for FIFA The Best Women's goalkeeper 2022 after helping England win the EURO 2022.
