Ajax's young talent Jorrel Hato has recently expressed his aspiration to join Arsenal, even though there were prior associations with Liverpool.
Speaking to ELF Voetbal, Hato praised Jurrien Timber's career path as an inspiring one to emulate. The 17-year-old acknowledged that Timber faced early injury setbacks but considered his move to Arsenal a wise decision.
Hato admitted that making a similar move was a significant ambition of his but acknowledged that there is still a considerable amount of work to be done.
“Unfortunately he [Timber] was seriously injured in his first Premier League game for Arsenal, but he is still young and has a bright future ahead of him," he said, via TBR Football.
“In any case, the move to Arsenal was a wonderful one for him. It is also my dream to one day make such a transfer, but I realize that I still have a very long way to go.”
