Fabrizio Romano provided an update on Arsenal's pursuit of a striker. During this January transfer window, the Gunners have been linked with several names including Alexander Isak, Dusan Vlahovic as well as Luka Jovic. Vlahovic was reportedly Arsenal's top target, however, it has been reported that the Fiorentina star will join Juventus. Speaking on his Here We Go podcast, Romano said on Isak to Arsenal: "They love him, they literally love him. He’s at the same level of Vlahovic in terms of appreciation for #Arsenal, but it will be difficult to sign this player in January as Sociedad are keen to keep this player until the end of the season. "They [Arsenal] were offered the chance to sign Luka Jovic on loan, but at the moment that isn’t the priority for either side, both the club and the player"
Isak is currently under contract at Real Sociedad until 2026. During this season he has made 25 appearances in which he has scored 8 goals and provided 2 assists..@FabrizioRomano: "They [Arsenal] were offered the chance to sign Luka Jovic on loan, but at the moment that isn’t the priority for either side, both the club and the player" https://t.co/6KcbdtBXHR
