Newcastle United receive a positive boost as Kieran Trippier is declared fit for Saturday's Premier League clash against Chelsea.
The Magpies' right-back, who played a full 90 minutes in England's Euro 2024 qualifier against Malta, withdrew from the squad for personal reasons before the 1-1 draw against North Macedonia.
Manager Eddie Howe confirmed Trippier's availability for selection, providing defensive strength to the team. However, the status of striker Isak remains uncertain.
The Sweden international, who has been sidelined for the last five games with a hamstring injury, leaves fans and management awaiting further updates on his recovery.

Ahead of the clash Satirday's meeting at St' James Park, manager Howe stated:
‘Miggy [Miguel Almiron] has worked really well since his hamstring. Kieran [Trippier] is fine, he has trained with us since his return from England. We will check on Sean [Longstaff] before tomorrow.
On Isak, he added: ‘I don’t want to give too much away.’
