'Didn't even look fit' - Pundit says player Spurs let go is now 'unrecognisable'

David Seaman has spoken about Dele Alli after his transfer move from Tottenham Hotspur. The 25-year-old joined Everton in January transfer window, 2022. Speaking on his Seaman Says Podcast, the pundit was amazed by Alli’s decline, claiming that the midfielder has been unrecognisable as of late.

“They’re low on confidence because they’ve not done it at their clubs, but now they’re at a new club and that gives you a bit of a boost," Seaman claimed.   "The fact that it’s Frank for Dele and for van De Beek, that will be brilliant. He was a midfield player and he might give them some ideas on what he used to go through if he was having a bad spell.   "With Dele Alli, if you look at where he got to and where he is now, it’s unrecognisable,” Seaman said.   “I saw him in a game, and I think he got brought off. I can’t remember who was the manager, but he didn’t even look fit.   "He was really really good, everyone was talking about him and he was doing it for England as well.”
