Derby County boss Wayne Rooney reacts to Everton managerial links

Wayne Rooney has claimed that he has turned down the chance to speak over Everton's managerial job, as per journalist Simon Stone. Former Manchester United star, who is currently in charge of Derby County, has opened up on his possible move to Goodison Park when speaking to the media. "Everton approached my agent and asked me to interview for the job. Turned down," Rooney said. "I believe I will be a PL manager and am ready for that 100%. But I have a job at Derby, which is important to me." Everton are currently in search of a new head coach following the sacking of Rafael Beintez. Rooney was considered as one of the main options to replace him. Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
