Chelsea are engaged in discussions with Brighton regarding a potential summer transfer deal for goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, via Metro UK.
Mauricio Pochettino is keen on strengthening his team's goalkeeper position, while the Blues are open to parting ways with Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Chelsea have also explored the option of signing Andre Onana from Inter but the Serie A club's asking price of at least €40 million (£34m) for the 27-year-old has been a stumbling block. In addition to Sanchez, the Premier League club are said to be targeting the Brighton player and are currently in talks for his potential move.
Meanwhile, Inter are reportedly interested in acquiring Romelu Lukaku, Kalidou Koulibaly, Trevoh Chalobah, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who is already in advanced negotiations with AC Milan.
The future of Sanchez at Brighton remains uncertain, especially after he was left out of Roberto De Zerbi's squad towards the end of the season. While De Zerbi mentioned that the decision was made by Sanchez himself, the player still has two years left on his current contract with the Seagulls.
