After Brendan Rodgers was sacked, Leicester City is expected to host John Terry in its backroom team alongside Dean Smith.
Despite setting off with a short-term contract, the coaches’ future at the team will be decided based on the success of the season.
According to Express Sport, Terry’s new position at Leicester can positively impact Chelsea if the coach uses his connections to sign these three players:
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
With the English midfielder’s contract coming to an end there is still no certainty among Chelsea coaches to extend the cooperation. Loftus-Cheek has been rarely featuring in the recent matches under the supervision of both Potter and Lampard. Although the player has occupied the bench regularly this season, he can be a strong addition to Leicester due to his versatility.
Conor Gallagher
Gallagher is another player struggling to start regularly at the Blues. The Foxes have a good opportunity of pursuing the midfielder as their player, Youri Tielemans, is going to part ways with the club on a free transfer. Gallager can be a good asset to the team that is currently in search of midfield reinforcement.
Trevoh Chalobah
As the Blues have a big variety of midfield defenders featuring Koulibaly, Fofana, Badiashile and Cucurella, Chalobah is another player struggling to feature regularly. If Leicester decides to pursue the skilled footballer, Chelsea will have a full profit as Chalobah is a homegrown athlete. On the other hand, the English midfielder will have a better chance of showcasing his talent in the new club.
