Brighton's young talent Jeremy Sarmiento has signed a new deal with the club until 2027.
The 21-year-old joined the Seagulls in 2021, and has established himself as one of the key players ever since. While talking of the Ecuadorian winger, club manager Roberto De Zerbi said. “Jeremy is a great guy and a very good player. Unfortunately, he couldn't play in the last part of the season because of his injury, but we expect him to be a very important player for us in the coming years."
The English club has excelled under their Italian head coach finishing the 2022/23 season just a spot behind Liverpool, in the 6th position. Sarmiento had a breakthrough season, showcasing his talent by earning three caps for Ecuador in the World Cup. Playing under the guidance of manager De Zerbi, he made 12 appearances in various competitions for Brighton.
