Barcelona would have to pay extra cash for Firmino

Phillipe Coutinho hoped to quit Anfield in the summer of 2017 but Liverpool dug their heels in and refused to let him go. Barcelona signed Coutinho on January 2018, however, also agreed not to sign any Liverpool player, unless the Anfield side are in agreement with the move, for a total of three seasons. One season has now passed, meaning Barcelona cannot sign Liverpool players for another two seasons. However, the Catalan giants could still try to sign Roberto Firmino, with whom the club have been linked. Barcelona would be forced to pay an additional premium of £89m on top of the agreed sale price.
