Arsenal have no intention of listening offers for their captain Martin Odegaard and instead plan to initiate contract negotiations with the Norwegian midfielder.
Odegaard played a key role in the team's second-place finish in the Premier League, contributing 15 goals and seven assists throughout the 2022/23 campaign.
According to the latest report by Standard Sport, the Gunners are determined to retain their star amid the reported interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Odegaard currently has two years remaining on his contract, with an option to extend it until 2026. However, Arsenal are keen on securing his long-term future at the club.
The Norway international is happy at the Emirates Stadium and shares an excellent relationship with manager Mikel Arteta, who appointed him as captain last summer. He has also settled in London and intends to spend part of his summer break there before visiting his family in Norway.
