Arsenal have started discussions with Bayer Leverkusen regarding the potential signing of Jeremie Frimpong.
According to journalist Stefan Bienkowski, although the negotiations are still in the early stages, it is believed that the player's price tag could exceed €50 million.
The 22-year-old could become a valuable long-term asset for Mikel Artetaa due to his versatility, being capable of operating as both a right-back and a wing-back.
The Dutch defender has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League, and it remains to be seen if he will ultimately join the Gunners.
Having contributed 9 goals and 11 assists across all competitions last season, Frimpong's potential acquisition would enhance the club's attacking prowess, particularly in comparison to Ben White, who has been utilized as a full-back despite his natural position as a central defender.
