Arsenal appear to have been handed a double injury boost ahead of their crucial clash with Tottenham. The Gunners will face Spurs in the Premier League following the international break on Saturday, October 1st.
The Gunners are looking forward to welcoming Martin Odegaard back as the player returned to action for Norway on Saturday after having missed Arsenal's 3-0 victory over Brentford ahead of the international break.
Odegaard missed the win over Brentford due to a knock to his calf suffered in training.
Meanwhile, Kieran Tierney was withdrawn from Scotland's game against Ireland during the first half after suffering an injury. Aaron Hickey was also substituted during the comeback win on Saturday.
However, following the game, Scotland boss Steve Clarke provided a positive update on both players.
“Both of them are okay,” said Clarke. “We took Kieran off as a precaution. Aaron felt a tightness, so we took him off as a precaution.”
The Gunners are currently leading the league table with 18 points, meanwhile, Tottenham are third with 17 points.
