Al-Nassr president 'will visit London to sign Chelsea star'

Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech has received a starting offer from Saudi Al-Nassr and the club's president is expected to travel to London to meet the Morocco international, according to The Mail.

Although the Moroccan has not appeared in many matches under Thomas Tuchel, his successor Graham Potter has been more reluctant to use Ziyech's services on the pitch. Since then, the winger has been visibly frustrated while mostly sitting on the sidelines, making only a few brief appearances under managers Potter and Frank Lampard. Despite his efforts, he has struggled to regain a regular place in the starting lineup.

Previously the 30-year-old was keen on moving to Paris-Saint Germain but the plan did not work out due to technical malfunctions at Stamford Bridge. Now, Ziyech is considering a move to Suadi Arabia, partly due to the enticing prospect of playing alongside Ronaldo, who joined Al-Nassr after the Qatar World Cup, according to Foot Mercato.

Al-Nassr is expected to offer Ziyech a lucrative contract in order to lure him to the club, and Chelsea is unlikely to obstruct the player's potential move. The Blues aim to reduce their squad size after a busy January transfer window left them with over 30 players. The funds generated from the Moroccan sale will also assist the club in achieving financial balance and compliance with Financial Fair Play regulations.
