"A tricky one...": Chris Sutton predicts result of West Ham vs Arsenal

BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton has shared his prediction for the upcoming Premier League clash between West Ham United and Arsenal.

The Hammers are set to face the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday, December 28, in what promises to be an exciting encounter under the lights.

As the home side, the Gunner currently lead the league table with 40 points, while the visitors sit in sixth place with 30 points, both having played 18 matches each.

Sutton's insight provides fans with anticipation and speculation ahead of this crucial fixture in the Premier League.

Therefore, ahead of the meeting, the pundit has dropped his scoreline prediction for the clash. Writing his BBC column, the 50-year-old admitted he expects the game to end in Mikel Arteta's side's 3 - 0 victory at the Emirates.

“This is a tricky one for Arsenal. West Ham are in good form, up to sixth place in the table, and always awkward to break down,”

“Hammers boss David Moyes is so underrated and also seemingly unappreciated by some fans, no matter how well his side do. I think it is a case where they should be careful what they wish for.

“Still, I am going with Arsenal here. They are at home, where they have won their past seven matches in all competitions, and although West Ham will work hard, they won’t keep them out.

Chris Sutton's prediction: Arsenal 3 - 0 West Ham
