Cyril Ngonge from Hellas Verona admits that his dream is to join Arsenal.
Last week, the young Belgian forward scored two goals as Verona emerged victorious over Spezia in the Serie A relegation playoff. In an interview with TMW, he expressed his unwavering commitment to remaining in Serie A and playing there in the upcoming season, emphasizing that relegation was never an option in his mind.
"I came here with a goal and I would have done anything to achieve it," stated the ambitious 23-year-old.
While admitting that his childhood dream was to play for Arsenal, Ngonge quickly added that he is currently enjoying his time in Italy and jokingly mentioned the possibility of staying. However, he clarified that his immediate future is certain with Verona.
"My future is clear at the moment. I still have two years on my contract with Verona, so I'd say this is it", concluded the Belgian professional.
