Dual-reg partnership discussions to begin with Hull FC

Hull FC have received an interest from host of clubs about becoming their new dual-registration partner. According to Total Rugby League report, numerous clubs have expressed an interest in linking up with Hull and Batley Bulldogs are the frontrunners. However,  the Black and Whites weren’t looking for an affiliate club initially after parting ways with League 1 side Doncaster at the end of last season, but they are considering a U-turn after learning the new Reserves League guidelines. Negotiations are on hold currently and most likely the talks will be shut until Christmas. However, the official guidelines are yet to be released by the RFL and the head coach is concerned it will make it difficult to field a reserve team without a dual-reg agreement. Source- Hull Live
