Draymond Green jokes about a potential second bubble without Steph Curry & Klay Thompson

The Golden State Warriors superstar Draymond Green joined TNT’s Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley in a recent installment of The Steam Room podcast to discuss the possibility of playing inside a separate NBA bubble — without his All-Star teammates, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Thompson is still in the rehab after suffering an ACL injury in his left knee. The Warriors ruled him out for the remainder of this season back in February, but the former No. 11 overall pick is doing everything in his power to get back on the court. Hopefully, this will have had plenty of time to recover for next season. “Are you, Steph and Klay getting ready for that second bubble right now?” Barkley asked Green as a joke during their interview. “Second bubble? What’s that?” Green replied with a big smile. Green doesn’t seem to be all that interested in playing in a second bubble, but he did say that he wouldn’t opt out if the NBA decided to implement it: “At the end of the day, if it came about and we had to go, I’m not gonna opt out,” Green said. “I’m just not gonna do that. but I am strongly against Adam Silver and anyone else in the league office starting a second bubble. “No one wants to see these teams,” the Warriors forward added in closing. “And by the way, they don’t wanna see us if Steph and Klay aren’t playing either.” Source- CLUTCHPOINTS
