Doc Rivers explains what hurt him most after the season was stopped

Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers has given his opinion on the possible restart of the season.  “I do think it’s a good idea. I think I have a team that has an incredible chance to win. So you want to play, you want to finish the season, you want to be crowned champions. I think it’s gonna take a while. We have to get through the virus first.” he told ESPN. The Clippers have the second best record in the Western Conference, winning 44 wins and 20 losses. But Rivers believe they began to show their true level in the last matches before the season was stopped.  The head coach has mentioned the past 10 matches, where the team won 7 and lost 3.  Rivers added: “We were not like some other teams, that were healthy during the whole year. Paul George, Kawhi missed many training sessions, but the last 10 games were the Clippers. That’s what we thought we would become.” “Obviously, the virus is more important than our season, but what hurt me the most was where we were about to go. We were about to start playing. I can’t wait to be back and see if we can resume that.”
