"Diving cheat!": Fans react on Raheem Sterling Twitter post after Tottenham loss

Fans have reacted to Raheem Sterling's Twitter post after the club's 2 - 0 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday. During the fixture Sterling received a yellow card for tackling on Dele Ali in the 12th minute. Later the 25-year-old escaped a second yellow card for simulation after the VAR check declared the Spurs' goalkeeper Hugo Lloris didn't make contact with him, saving the club from Ilkay Gundogan penalty. After the game Sterling has posted on his Twitter account, sharing his thoughts on the clash. He wrote: "A bad result and overall performance... We should have done the job and score way before being punished tonight. Lessons got to be learned for the next important games." Fans have reacted controversially to the post.
