Diogo Jota claims he is looking forward to playing with Roberto Firmino in a front-four with Liverpool pair Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
The Portugal international is currently ahead of Firmino in the pecking order, as head coach Jurgen Klopp chooses the attacking trio of Jota, Salah and Mane.
But Jota hopes the quartet can play together at some stage, as they have the potential to be lethal.
“They are world-class players, and I am very happy to be able to play with them and to get results with them,” he said.
“I feel like we are still developing our connections on the field, and I think we can improve on that.
“But that obviously develops with game time and facing different opponents together. But hopefully, along with Bobby Firmino, as a front-four we can get a lot of goals this season if we do the right things.”
Jota played 9 games for Liverpool this season, scored 3 goals, while Firmino made 6 appearances and as well netted 3 times.
