Deontay Wilder’s co-manager Shelly Finkel has reacted after Tyson Fury claimed he is moving on from their trilogy fight. Fury was contracted to a third clash with Wilder on December 19.
However, Fury and his US co-promoter Bob Arum, explained that the contractual clause binding them to another bout with Wilder has now expired.
“He’s entitled to his opinion, he can think anything he wants," Finkel told
ESPN, by responding to Arum’s comments about the contract expiring.
“Deontay and I would like to have the next fight, as planned, against Fury.
“We’ll fight him any date, any place.”
Finkel later also told
The Athletic: “I spoke to Deontay [on Monday] night, all Deontay wants is to fight Fury. Any time, any place.
“He’s disappointed. We’ll see what happens in the next day or so.”
