Dele Alli vows to hit goal trail: “I’ve set myself a little target”

Tottenham star Dele Alli wants to rediscover his goal-scoring touch and has set himself a secret target for the new season. The 23-year-old scored five goals in the Premier League last year and acknowledged that he needs to improve those statistics. “I'm not really one for setting targets for goals and assists but I want to bring them back into my game, so of course I've set myself a little target,” Alli said, without disclosing what the tally is. Alli believes more work needs to be done. “We are not the finished article,” he said “We know that. We've got things to improve on. But we think we are definitely heading in the right direction. It's just another season, we have to show improvement and we are not far off it.”
