David Ornstein suggests that Liverpool may have an opportunity to sign Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips during the summer transfer window.
Despite playing a limited role for the Citizens this season, Phillips is on the verge of winning a treble in his debut season with the club. Speculation about his potential departure has persisted, and Ornstein indicates that a transfer could indeed materialize as the summer progresses.
Speaking on Rio Ferdinand's FIVE YouTube channel, the journalist discussed various market-related topics and acknowledged that all options are currently open for Phillips at Manchester City.
“There’s a bit of uncertainty over Kalvin Phillips," he said, via TBR Football.
"I think Manchester City would be open to letting him go, but I am not sure he wants to go at this point so early in his Man City career.”
