Crystal Palace handed major fitness boost ahead of the Leeds United clash

Crystal Palace are set to face Leeds United on Tuesday night, and the squad seems to be shaping up ahead of the clash.

Patrick Vieira's side will be hoping to get back on track after their disappointing home defeat to Aston Villa at the weekend. Sitting at the mid-table in the Premier League after 13 matches, here's what fitness issues there are at Palace. First one is James McArthur, who looks almost certain to be missing for the trip to Elland Road. The midfielder has missed both of the Eagles’ last two games, but there has been no update on the severity of the injury. Joachim Andersen will most likely also miss most for Palace after he skipped the loss to Villa at the weekend. Vieira revealed after the match that he is set to undergo a scan to discover the length of time he will not be available for.
“We don’t know yet. He will do more exams tomorrow, then we will find out maybe on Monday morning.”
Nathan Ferguson is still yet to make his debut for the club after a string of injuries. He is, however, very close to get back in action after Vieira revealed earlier this month that he would gradually join the team training sessions.
“Nathan will start next week to take part in some of the exercises with the first team.”
