'Come to Aston Villa' - Gabriel Agbonlahor urges Villa to sign £210,000-a-month manager

Gabriel Agbonlahor has revealed that he would like to see Steven Gerrard managing Aston Villa, as Dean Smith got sacked yesterday. Speaking to talkSPORT, Agbonlahor urged his former team to sign the Rangers' head-coach as the latter is among the candidates to take charge of Villa, as per The Telegraph.

 “I would love him to come. Watching his passion on the side with Rangers, watching how Rangers play football, I think he would be a great signing for Aston Villa," said the 35-year-old.   “I feel like with Rangers, what more can he do for them? He has won the title with them after such a long time of not winning it.   “I feel it’s the right time now for him to come to Aston Villa, and that might be a stepping stone for him.”
