Pundit Chris Sutton has given his prediction for the upcoming match between Leeds United and West Ham in the Premier League on January 4.
The Whites ended 2022 with a goalless draw against Newcastle United, the Hammers, meanwhile, faced a 0 - 2 defeat by Brentford.
Ahead of the meeting, Jesse Marsch's men stand 14th at the table with the London side sitting 17th, above the relegation zone.
Sutton predicted the result of the match, giving the advantage to the Yorkshire outfit in a narrow victory of 2 -1 at Elland Road.
"Leeds gave Newcastle a decent game last time out, and defended well to get a draw. Ordinarily, I would say the way they play suits West Ham but, whatever is wrong with the Hammers, I don't see it improving here.
"David Moyes' side have lost their past five Premier League games while only scoring twice and that lack of goals is probably their biggest problem.
"So, I am writing West Ham off here - although I've been wrong about them so often this season, that is probably good news for their fans."
