Chris Sutton hits back at Ally McCoist after the latest gives verdict on Celtic’s 9th consecutive title

Former Celtic forward Chris Sutton has hit back at Ally McCoist after the latest said the 9th consecutive title will be marked with an asterisk.  The season in Scotland was stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic. SPFL have decided not to resume the campaign and gave the title to the Hoops. Neil Lennon’s team had a comfortable advantage over Rangers in tha table and were considered the favourites to win the league.  McCoist believes Rangers were competitive enough to battle for the title.  "I think Ally's been on the Bucky, hasn't he? I don't know what he's talking about," Sutton said during the Daily Record Celtic podcast "He just doesn't want to admit it, that Celtic have been the better team. "I saw one of his quotes from Tuesday morning, he said: 'Could Rangers have caught up with Celtic? Absolutely.' "I mean, what planet is he on? Really? "People talk about asterisks, but there should be question marks - and this is what Rangers fans should be thinking - over what the hell happened in Dubai? "There should be exclamation marks about Alfredo Morelos, the shape he was in after the winter break. Don't worry about asterisks. "I was reading this morning, if you want to talk about asterisks, should Rangers have 54 titles? "In the first season of the Scottish league in 1890-91, Rangers and Dumbarton shared the title, didn't they? But Dumbarton scored seven more goals.”

“Their tears are delicious” Celtic fans react on Ally McCoist’s recent comments
