Christian Pulisic has tested positive for Covid-19 and is set to miss Chelsea's upcoming match against Arsenal on Sunday.
The American winger scored against Crystal Palace on their opener, but missed the Blues' training session this week.
Thomas Tuchel has confirmed,"Pulisic unfortunately had a positive test and needs to follow the protocols and is not available.”
However, the Chelsea manager expects Hakim Ziyech and N'Golo Kante to return to the squad, while record signing Romelu Lukaku is also set to make his debut.
“Ziyech and Kante were both training today and had absolutely no problems,” said the German. “Right now it seems very possible they can both be in the squad for Sunday.”
