Chelsea stop Fabregas joining Monaco

Chelsea have blocked Cesc Fabregas from joining Monaco this month until they find a suitable replacement. Fabregas, 31, has reportedly flown to Monaco to finalise the deal. However, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is now forcing him to wait to complete the move. An injury to Ruben Loftus-Cheek has left Maurizio Sarri light in his midfielder stocks.
