Chelsea in race with Liverpool to sign 17-year-old youngster from Monaco

Chelsea and Liverpool look set to battle it out for Monaco’s youngster Khedran this summer. The player hasn’t signed a professional deal with Monaco yet and could join both clubs for free. The source suggests that Italian giants Juventus are also keeping tabs on the midfielder. But Monaco will not be looking to offload him as he is one of the most promising young prospects in their academy. Earlier the club tried to secure a professional deal with him but the youngster refused to commit his future to Monaco. Thuram, who is the son of World Cup winner Lilian Thuram, is a midfielder, unlike his father. He has progressed through the ranks with France's youth teams and he is on track to break into the senior squad.
