Chelsea LOANEE Ampadu speaks out on his future after beating Tottenham with RB Leipzig
Chelsea loanee Ethan Ampadu wants a Chelsea return, but at the moment he is concentrated on RB Leipzig and his performances for the German side.
"I am always watching Chelsea and seeing what is going on. It is good to see the young players are shining at the moment.” Ampadu said (via Sky Sports)
"They are in the top four so fingers crossed they can hold on to that.
"I would like to go back, I aim to, but right now I am focused on Leipzig and finishing the season." he added.
Wales international joined Julian Nagelsmann’s side last summer, but has so far started only 2 times, the second time yesterday against Tottenham in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.
Ampadu was a key player to deny Tottenham’s attacking players score at the home ground. Leipzig beat Jose Mourinho’s side 1-0 and are now favourites to reach the quarterfinals.
