Once the Premier League title is wrapped up the Chelsea board will offer the Italian manager a new contract with a significant pay raise.
Daily Telegraph reports that Chelsea “are confident” that an agreement will be reached with the 47-year-old manager.
It is also reported that a significant pay raise will be in order replacing the current £6.5m annual salary with a £8m-per-year contract.
Manchester City’s flat performance at the Etihad Stadium drew the “citizens” down by 2 points making the difference of 10 with Chelsea.
Conte also has a chance to win the FA Cup in order to secure a league and cup double in this season, if The Blues overcome The Red Devils on March 13.
