Chelsea latest transfer news: United could hijack TWO Chelsea transfers, Kante could leave the club, rejected bid and more

Chelsea are set to be among the most active clubs in this summer’s transfer window. The Blues have already completed the signings of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner. But they are now eyeing more big deals. Check out all the latest Chelsea news and transfer gossip below…
West Ham are reportedly sticking to their high price-tag for Declan Rice. The 21-year-old is known to be one of Chelsea's top defensive targets. Sky recently claimed that West Ham would ‘laugh off’ any bid for the player at a value of £50m. Now, according to the Times, it's understood they will not entertain any offers for less than £80m.
Arsenal have completed the signing of Brazil winger Willian on a three-year deal. The 32-year-old was a free agent after leaving Chelsea, having spent seven years at Stamford Bridge. He had rejected the offer of a two-year extension with the Blues, and has now joined Chelsea's London rivals the Gunners.
Arsenal have reportedly joined Chelsea in the chase for Sergio Reguillon, who is on loan from Real Madrid. Frank Lampard is keen to add a new left-back to his ranks after being left unconvinced by Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri. According to AS, Mikel Arteta is also interested in the 23-year-old, who was named the 'best left-back in LaLiga' this season.
Timo Werner in training with Chelsea Cesar Azpilicueta has backed new recruits Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech to steal a march on the new Premier League season. “Both of them have shown their quality in training in these past couple of weeks,” said Azpilicueta. “We have seen their potential offensively, the way they can create chances and the way they can score goals so they are big additions to the team. “The quicker and easier they can adapt to the Premier League, the better it will be for everybody so it was good to have them with the group for a few weeks at the end of the season. They are already integrated and know everybody so it's been a very good time for that and now we're all looking forward to seeing them on the pitch.”
Manchester United could hijack TWO Chelsea transfers this summer. The Mirror write that United will rival Chelsea for Ben Chilwell. It has already been reported the club could nip in ahead of the Blues for Kai Havertz and this will certainly put pressure on Chelsea to pay the large transfer fee Leicester are asking for.
Tammy Abraham has vowed to react to Timo Werner's arrival and thrive off the competition at Chelsea. Abraham said: “This is Chelsea Football Club, there's always going to be high standards and high competition and this is something I've been dreaming of since I was a kid. I've always been fighting for it, it's never come easy, it wasn't easy at the start of the season but I worked my way into the team and that's what I've got to keep doing.” Tammy Abraham during the game between Chelsea and Reading
News from Italy now and Gazzetta dello Sport suggest Antonio Conte is keen on being reunited with another former player. This time it's Chelsea's N'Golo Kante, who is see as the answer to Inter Milan's midfield search this summer. No move will be made until after the club have finished their Europa League run, however.
Chelsea have been handed a huge transfer boost with Bayer Leverkusen saying Kai Havertz CAN leave if “certain conditions are met”. The Blues have been strongly linked with making a move for the £90million-rated striker this summer. Speaking to German magazine Kicker, Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller said: “No decision has been made yet. I’d like to repeat myself by emphasising that we’re talking about a wonderful footballer. “There is nothing new in this regard. We have a clear and mutual agreement with him and his representatives that he can only leave if certain requirements are met. Otherwise he will stay.”
Antonio Conte could be set to give Emerson Palmieri the chance to bring his Chelsea career to an end. A five-year agreement between Inter and the Blues outcast is thought to be in place with personal terms agreed, according to reports in Italy. And Calciomercato claim a lucrative wage of £1.9million per season has been offered to the 26-year-old.
Chelsea reportedly offered Michy Batshuayi and Ross Barkley to West Ham in an £80million deal for Declan Rice. But The Times reports the Hammers REJECTED the swap deal and are holding out for £80m in cash. Source: TalkSport, The Independent, The Sun
