Thomas Tuchel has received an injury boost ahead of the Liverpool clash on Thursday as Callum Hudson-Odoi is expected to fit for the game.
Hudson-Odoi started from the first minutes when the Blues faced Manchester United, however, he was replaced at the 46th minute as Reece James came on to replace him. The youngster was later seen with an ice pack and strapping around his left thigh.

Following the game, Tuchel provided an update on the youngster: "[He was] a little bit injured.
"The reason [he was replaced] was a tactical reason and a little injury, a combination, because we switched to a back-five in defence and covered the wide position from [Marcus] Rashford in between [Cesar] Azpilicueta and Reece James.
"In the second half, that was not an option to use Callum there and that’s why it was a tactical choice."
According to Daily Star, the club are "optimistic" that Hudson-Odoi will be in contention for the Reds clash.
