Chelsea eye free transfer for 'next Virgil van Dijk' after star leaves Barcelona

Chelsea are reportedly close to a deal to sign 18-year-old defender Xavier Mbuyamba, lebelled as 'the next Virgil van Dijk '. The Dutch teenager has left Barcelona after only one year, citing a lack of game time at the Nou Camp for his exit. Mbuyamba featured in just three Uefa Youth League games for Barca during.
