CEO Peter Moore reveals Liverpool's plans for new kit suppliers when New Balance deal ends

Liverpool's deal with New Balance is set to expire in 2020 and the club is open to offers from kit suppliers. (via Mirror) The Reds' CEO Peter Moore suggests that the club is will listen to offers from new suppliers when the New Balance agreement expires. “It’s an important part of our overall commercial make-up, not only for the revenue it brings, but live-and-die football fans [care] about their kit manufacturer and designs as part of how they show themselves as fans," Peter told Arabian Business. “We think we are uniquely placed right now to build upon what we already have with New Balance... we think it’s a great opportunity to build on our global distribution.” Liverpool will search for a deal closer to rivals Manchester United, who earn the more than any other club in the world from Adidas, receiving £75m-per-year from the German giants.
