Celtic defender Hatem Abd Elhamed has posted a bad news message after having a scan on his groin injury.
The 28-years old player over-stretched for a ball in the 83rd minute of Celtic’s 2-1 win over Lazio (UEFA Europa League) this Thursday.
During the post-match conference, The Hoops manager Neil Lennon explained that they’d wait till Saturday to do a scan since there was still a lot of bruising around the injury.

Against Lazio Elhamed moved inside from his usual right-back berth to form a three man central defensive unit with Kris Ajer and Christopher Jullien.
