“The first half turned out great both by us and the Chile team,” the 23-year-old told Russian media representatives at the post-match press conference.
“We played against the favorites but I think the game was equal.
“This was a draw in a game between two very strong teams. Now all our thoughts are about the next clash [against Cameroon], and, of course, we aim on heading the group.
“Against Cameroon we want to win and score as many goals as possible and head the group with the help of that feature,” the Germany international added.
